The last instar larvae are 28-35mm long, with large changes in body color, multiple wrinkles, yellow and white lines on the top and back lines, black valves, and yellow-white broad band on the valve line. There are black short lines near the subline of each body section. . The length of the dragonfly is 13-14mm. The abdomen has sections on the back of the 5-7 section with engraved dots.
